Reviews & Google Business Profile

Google review QR code you can update without reprinting

A review QR is a door. Guests scan a receipt, a counter card, or a window sticker; their phone opens a write-review page. qrcode.house does not host reviews. Download a free QR when that address will never move. Unlock the same URL code for $9.99/year when the destination will.

Google already gives you a review QR

From a computer, Google Business Profile can copy a review link or save a QR image. That file encodes Google’s write-review URL. Adobe Express and a DIY template export do the same: the destination sits in the modules. Use those if you only want Google and the listing will not change.

On qrcode.house a review QR is still a URL. A free URL download is already a short link — the first review address works and stays frozen. The printed symbol follows ISO/IEC 18004. Billing is about whether you can retarget that door after print.

Free is enough when the review URL is stable

Many “always buy dynamic” guides skip this. If the write-review address is fixed, Google’s QR, a static export, or our free generator all work. No unlock required.

  • The Google review URL will not move

If guests should always open the same Place ID write-review link, a free file stays correct. Google’s own Business Profile QR and an Adobe Express export work the same way.

  • The print is disposable

A same-week receipt footer, a thank-you email image, or a pop-up table card can stay free. Reprinting is cheap when the paper is thrown away.

  • You only ever want Google reviews

A single listing, one platform, no review-landing page. There is nothing to retarget. Do not unlock a code you will never edit.

Unlock a URL code when the print has to outlast the link

After unlock, a scan hits a short link on qrcode.house and we load whatever URL you last saved. That is the product — not a review inbox, not campaign analytics. Flow: how dynamic QR works.

  • The listing or Place ID can change

A move, a re-claim, or a second location often gets a new Maps listing. A frozen QR then opens the old write-review form — or nothing.

  • You may switch the review page

Google today, a Trustpilot or Facebook link next quarter, or a short page that asks people to pick a platform. That is a destination edit, not a new sticker run.

  • The same print needs a pause or a second job

Point at reviews this month, then at a “talk to us first” page, a survey, or a closed-for-renovation note. Unlock stores that URL on your account.

One unlocked code can cover the counter

If every receipt, table tent, and window sticker should open the same review page, print the same file. That is one destination and — if you unlock — one $9.99/year code, not a code per receipt. Add a second unlocked code only when the destination is different: a second location, a menu QR, or a guest Wi‑Fi sticker.

Bitly and QR Code Generator typically sell a monthly platform plan for a pool of dynamic codes, seats, and campaign tools. That fits a multi-site brand. A single shop that needs one lasting review print is the per-code case — when that model wins is on dynamic QR price vs monthly SaaS. The two live prices are on the pricing page.

What we do not do

  • We do not collect reviews, reply to them, or post them to Google. Keep the listing on Google Business Profile.
  • Do not offer discounts or gifts in exchange for a review. Google treats that as fake engagement.
  • Custom centre logos ship with a dynamic unlock; free downloads use the QRcode.house logo.

FAQ

Can I make a free Google review QR code?
Yes. Paste your review URL on qrcode.house and download a PNG, JPEG, SVG, or PDF with no account. A free URL file is already a short link: the first destination works and stays frozen. Google Business Profile can also give you a review QR from a computer browser. Free files on qrcode.house include the house centre mark.
Is a review QR a special type?
No. It is a URL. Choose URL in the builder and paste the address guests should open — usually a Google write-review link. We do not have a separate “reviews” product, and we do not host Google reviews.
When should I unlock $9.99/year for a review QR?
When the printed sticker, receipt, or counter card has to stay correct after the review URL moves. Unlock stores the destination on your account. Edit the saved link; the pattern stays. Codes you never unlock stay free downloads.
Do you collect reviews or post them to Google?
No. qrcode.house stores or encodes the door — a URL. Guests leave the review on Google, Trustpilot, or wherever that link goes. Follow Google’s rules: do not offer incentives for reviews.
